Can anyone explain to me why the producers of television commercials think that creating an advertisement for ANYTHING with the horrendous sound of over exaggeratedly loud food crunching is appealing to the consumers? I for one find it so obnoxious that it turns me completely off to even the thought of purchasing the advertised product! I realize that having misophonia plays a large role in this for me, however in the same token I can think of not one person who has ever said to me..... "I enjoy the sound of people eating loudly and crunching their food in a way that is clearly not natural." Have you? Have any of you ever had one person admit that to you? *grumbles* Thank goodness for the mute button!
